YS Career Experience Programme 2026

Youth Square launches the “YS Career Experience Programme” every year and opens recruitment to tertiary students across Hong Kong.

With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI), workplaces worldwide are undergoing unprecedented transformation. As Generation Z begins entering the job market, they are facing the most significant wave of AI disruption at the start of their career path. Equipping themselves with knowledge of AI techniques and its appropriate applications will help increasing competitiveness.

In view of this, the “YS Career Experience Programme” 2026 adopts the theme “AI Workplace”, guiding Gen Z interns to acquire essential AI skills before officially stepping into the workforce. Through a series of AI workplace application and experiential workshops, as well as site visits, etc., participants will learn how to leverage AI to optimise work processes, enhance productivity, and become truly competitive and influential new‑generation professionals.

Successful applicants will be assigned to various departments from June to August, including the Hostel Department, Facilities Management Department, and Operations Department, where they will gain hands‑on experience and undertake a wide range of practical tasks.

Recruitment Period: From now until 27 March 2026

Online Briefing Sessions: 16 & 17 March 2026 *

Interview Period: 20 April to 24 April 2026

Internship Period: From 22 June to 16 August 2026 (Total eight weeks)

* To improve your interview performance, two online briefing sessions will be held on 16 and 17 March to introduce the Programme and Youth Square. Applicants are required to register in advance. The briefing session will help you to gain a fuller understanding of the programme’s objectives, arrangement, and application requirements, and will assist you in clearly presenting your abilities during the interview.
