As one of the highlighted events of 2026 youthfest@HK , "SWISH! YS Basketball Fest 2026" is back this summer at Youth Square! This youth-focused event combines advanced technology with basketball to create an innovative and dynamic sports platform for young people.

The event features a 3 on 3 basketball competition, professional basketball players showcase and sharing sessions, sports technology integrated workshops, AI powered creative experience and themed photo installations. It provides young people with a healthy platform for enjoying a unique blend of sports technology and innovation while building confidence and a positive mindset, spreading positive energy. Furthermore, this year's workshops introduce advanced sports technology, utilizing data analysis and intelligent training systems to enable participants to gain insights into their physical performance and potential for development and inspiring them to push their limits.

Date: 15-16 and 22-23 Aug 2026

Location: Y Studio, 2/F, Youth Square (near Exit A, Chai Wan MTR station)

Target: Youths aged between 14 and 29

The highlight of the programme , the "YS Summer Basketball Competition" brings together youth teams to compete and connect on the court, showcasing their passion and dynamic energy. The competition adapts a 3on3 format, featuring Junior and Youth categories for both men and women groups. On the final day, a star-studded exchange session will take place, inviting professional basketball players to share experiences and interact with the youth participants. The event will also host energetic cheerleading performances and engaging basketball-themed challenges, creating a vibrant festival atmosphere for players and visitors alike, allowing all participants to experience the joy of sports together.

2. Sports & Chill-experienced workshops

A series of hands-on experiential workshops to enable participants to explore the exciting intersection of sports, technology and creativity. 

The basketball workshops apply cutting-edge technology to basketball training, using scientific motion analysis to break down different basketball movements to enhance participants' performance. In addition, “Sports X Arts” workshops will be conducted to encourages participants to unleash their creativity and create their own art pieces.

The event will also feature sports-themed installations across Youth Square, transforming the venue into a vibrant photo hotspot for young people to capture and share memorable moments.
