Programme Mission

 ‘YS Digital Content Creator 2022’ has been well received by youth who are interested to pursue a career in Digital Marketing. Following the success in the past, ‘YS Digital Content Creator 2022’ will continue to provide a series of courses about Digital Marketing to youth who are interested in working in the industry. Instructed by professionals in the industry, youth are allowed to learn Digital Marketing in an incremental manner from the basic knowledge of marketing to the practical advertising skills. This year, more content related to Email Marketing and Google Analytics will be provided for helping youth to catch up the new trend! Participants who obtained excellent performance during courses will have the opportunity to be a digital content creator on Youth Square’s social media platforms!

Programme Feature

The programme comprises sixteen modules in total, including social media management, content marketing, video editing, photo retouching skills, search engine marketing, measurement of social media performance, email marketing and Google Analytics. In addition, sharing from industry player will be included, to help youth know more about the marketing mode under new normal.

*Remarks：

1. Youth Square will issue certificates to participants who achieved required attendance rates (Complete 7 classes).
2. All classes will be conducted in Cantonese.
3. Seats of Photoshop 1-3, Premiere Pro 1-3 and Animation 1-2 are limited.
4. Course duration will be around 2 - 4 hours. The training course may be conducted via online training platforms depending on the severity of the pandemic.

Award of YS Digital Content Creator

Participants who can reach the required attendance rate and deliver excellent classwork will have the opportunity to be selected as YS Digital Content Creator with a prize of HK$5,000! In addition, there will be opportunities to work with our programme partners to provide social media content.

Prizes are judged according to the following criteria:

1. Complete 7 webinars (20%)
2. Submit designated work during the trainings (social media post x 1) (20%)
3. After the programme is completed, students are required to submit a proposal regarding ’how to promote Youth Square’ .
4. There is no restriction on the media formats. (E.g. social media post, graphic, video or proposal etc.) (60%)

*Remarks: The training course may be conducted via online training platforms depending on the severity of the pandemic. The attendance will still be counted during online sessions.

The eligibility of participant and notes:

1. Participants must be between the age of 15 and 24; written consent from parent / guardian is needed for participants below the age of 18.
2. Participant must be a holder of Hong Kong permanent identity card.
3. Participant must complete an online application form. A confirmation email will be sent to participant, please provide a valid email address.
4. The organizer will own the copyright of all submitted work. The organizer reserves the right to use, edit and publish the work for training and promotion purposes.
5. Decisions made by judging panel are final and are not subject to dispute.
6. Limited quota on a first-come-first-served basis.
7. The organizer reserves the right to amend the programme content. In case of any dispute, the organizer reserves the right of final decision.

Note:

1. All visitors of Youth Square are required to scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" QR code or register their names, contact number and the date and time of the visit before being allowed to enter for necessary contact tracing if a confirmed case is found. Appeals are made to visitors to download and install the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile app in advance and scan the QR code with the app before entering Youth Square.
2. All participants are required to actively present their vaccination record or Exemption Certificate and the relevant QR code, including that saved in "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile application or shown on mobile applications such as "iAM Smart" or "eHealth", or the QR code shown on their paper vaccination record.
