K11 Art Foundation and Youth Square co-present the Teenage Summer Art Camp, providing an opportunity for senior secondary school students with an interest in arts and culture to have a taste of the contemporary art world and plan ahead their future path in the arts. The program includes a series of talks, sharing sessions and workshops, during which participants will be in dialogue with young artists, designers and university students from related disciplines. Led by a professional curator, they will also go on an art excursion to learn about ways of appreciation and interpretation.


Date: 19 & 20 August, 2019 (Mon & Tue)
Time: 1 – 5 pm

Venue: Dance Studio, Youth Square
Fee: Free
Language: Cantonese
Eligibility: Local students promoted to F.4-6

Quota: 30 (First come, first served)
Remarks: Participants will receive a completion certificate upon reaching 75% or higher attendance.


About the Speaker

Jeff Leung Chin Fung
An independent curator and a part-time lecturer who used to work in exhibition administration and curatorship in different art institutions. He also managed overseas exhibition projects, such as the Hong Kong Pavilion at Venice Biennale (2003). Now he focuses on the study of Hong Kong Art and has curated a number of local art exhibitions, including Sparkle! Neo Travel: Creative and Cultural Docent@ Community (2017).
