How to Book

Important Notes:

This booking application will be considered by Youth Square and will go through an approval procedure in accordance with the content and nature of proposed function / event, value of youth development, number of days of the proposed function, nature of the applicant, and hiring records of the applicant, etc.
Availability of the venues you are applying to hire is subject to operational feasibility.

Please read the Scale of Hire Charges and Hire Guide before completing this application form. Upon signing and submitting a booking application, the applicant shall be taken as having agreed to and accepted the terms contained in the “Scale of Hire Charges“ and “Hire Guide“.

Applicants under the age of 18 must have their Booking Application Form signed by a parent or a guardian of 18 or above.

For functions involving public entertainment, a “Places of Public Entertainment License” is required under regulation 3 of the Places of Public Entertainment Regulations (Cap. 172A).

For functions involving public exhibition of films as defined under the Film Censorship Ordinance, a “Certificate of Approval/ Exemption” is required from the Director of Film, Newspaper & Article Administration. Please contact Office for Film, Newspaper & Article Administration for details. Applicant should also note that they need to comply with any requirements set out in other Ordinances as may be applicable to.

You may also download a Booking Application Form and submit your application together with the required documents by mail, email, fax or in person to Youth Square Operations Department. Offline applications will be processed to go through the same approval procedure upon receipt. An acknowledgement will be provided to applicants within 3 working days. If an applicant fails to provide the required documents, the application will not be processed. Successful applicants will be required to complete and submit the ‘‘Confirmed Booking Form’’ in order to secure the booking. For details, please refer to the “Booking Arrangements” on page 5 to 7 on the Hire Guide.
